Coming Home
Lyra is 5 lbs and 3oz and she is eating all of her food on her own. The nurses have told us to go ahead and get our carseat ready and we are watching discaharge videos this week. If everything goes well over the next few days she will likely be coming home this weekend once she is off antibiotics.

Update
Hi everyone. We just wanted to let you know that Lyra had a hard morning. She woke up with a fever and wasn't feeling well. She had to have quite a lot of not so nice test this morning but she is a tough girl and she is acting more herself now. The doctors think it is a UTI and have started antibiotics but all the test won't be back till Monday. Please keep her in your prayers that she will feel better soon and pull out of this quickly.

3 Weeks Old Today
Lyra is 3 weeks old today. The pictures above are older but we kinda think she looks like an astronaut so we wanted to share them. She weighs 2105g which is about 4 lbs. 10 oz. She is beginning to eat on her own more and more regularly but she is still working on it. No word on when she will be home but we keep hoping by Christmas.

Lyra Adele, 15 days
Lyra turned two weeks yesterday. She has made alot of progress in the last week. She came out of her isolette and into a crib and out of the photo therapy lights on Monday. She is also up to 1980g, 4lbs 5oz. She is still being fed through her feeding tube some but also feeds on her own sometimes. She did have to go on oxygen on Tuesday but just a little. She loves to snuggle and has already figured out that just a little cry will get mommy to pick her up. We will post new photos soon.

Happy Thanksgiving
We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. Lyra is doing well. She is 1 week old today. She is still under the lights, sun bathing in her cool sunglasses but we are hoping she will be out soon. She is also off her IV and getting just her milk by feeding tube now. Her wonderful nurses made this Thanksgiving sign with her little hand and we wanted to share it along with a picture of her chilin in her shades.
